New Foster and Cece's new man!

The rescue group I work with recently rescued dozens of puppy mill dogs.  To give you an idea of the cruel environment they were in, these dogs had never walked on grass or concrete.  They did not know how to walk up stairs or with a leash.  Thankfully we were able to help two of them!  The first picture is Mr. Louis, Cece's new man.  We have been looking for a special pooch for my Mom since last Fall.  This guy is so sweet, he will literally kiss you to death if you let him.  Now if we could only get him to warm up to G-Daddy:)

This little baby is Coco. She is our newest foster,  super sweet. She was a Mama at the puppy mill. She wears a shirt 24/7 because her skin was so infected ( it was black when they got her)  It continues to itch so if she does not wear it she could bite a hole in her skin :( But it is getting better with each bath! She is 8 yrs old and there is no telling how many puppies she has had.  Poor thing is only 5lbs and so small she can't jump up.  We are working on pottey training but most importantly, giving her the life she has not had for the last 8 years!
