Fabulous Weekend

Last weekend Tim and I had our wonderful friends from Auburn in town to visit.  Friday night we went to dinner at La Dolce Vita.  It was, as always, superb.  Saturday we first went to Pepper Place Farmer's Market downtown and bought fresh veggies, cheese and pottery.  We then headed to Sloss Furnace.  Valerie, Phil and I had all seen this documentary www.aptv.org/sloss .  It is the story of the history of Sloss , the fight for preservation and the current metal arts program.  Check out the website for upcoming viewings!  Despite the humidity it was very interesting and somehow pretty creepy.  I cannot imagine attending the haunted house @ Halloween!

 After lunch Valerie and I went to one of our nearby wineries for winetasting.  What a full day of fun!
